Metal injection molding (MIM) is a typical product of cross-disciplinary, integrating two different processing technologies (plastic injection mold and powder metallurgy).
It makes designer get rid of tradition and gets low-cost and heterogenic stainless steel, nickel, iron, copper, titanium and other metal parts via plastic molding.
Through this method, designer can have freedom of design.
Price quote: Based on your product design/drawing, KUM will confirm wether product can be produced by MIM with your expected material,
and wether all your requirements such as tolerance can be achieved, then KUM will quote price for both injection mold and product.
Construction organization: KUM will work on injection mold construction untill your final confirmation.
Samples testing: KUM do molding and test production till samples is approved by you.
Production: With your approval of the samples testing,we enter production.
KUM mainly use stainless steel 17-4,316,420 and 440C.
